I Am offered a nice job in Doha but I am not Sure if my wife could get a job in Quatar as she is maxilo facial surgeon and I don't know if there is any kind of rectriction for women on that area.
I do not know much about immigration laws and the sort. But, once you decide to come I would recommend to read about Islam and Qatari culture so you would know more about the people and why some things are the way they are.
There are some cultural centres that you can go to once you are here.

Of course there is restriction if your wife does not have the requisite qualifications. Other than that, she can work in any specialty if she fulfills the criteria. In fact, the only two people I know of in MF surgery are both women.

What is IMG? We understood it is international medical graduate (2000 would mean year of graduation?) Or you just chose the nick.
also you search in this website www.SCH.com.qa.(suprime council of health) they clearly mentioned for the lisence requerments to work in this country.
