Usual Amount of Allowance for Foods and Transportation for a Single Person

I am Asian and single, probably to start work in Qatar by next year. I am in the process of learning more about living in Qatar. Accomodations will be provided by our employer and we will be given meal allowance and transportation allowance. Could somebody help me know the usual budget a single person must provide for foods/meals for a month in order to have a respectable and comfortable living.If I am not going to buy car and I will just depend on the available public transport, what budget I will be putting for trasportation if I will just stay in Doha area.

You can get a decent meal for about QR10 (which equals to approx. QR900 a month) - this is a real budget meal like a sharwma, chips and coke. Of course, this is assuming you eat out for every meal.
