it is possible that we can demand a salary increase to our company that before they give to us during our first two years here ,but unfortunately managements change and that is the time that they did not give the said benefit, always they told to us that it is not cover by the contract and qatar labor here , but they give us before
Normally the salary increase factor should be discussed by both parties before the signing of the contract and normally salary here is given based on the performance shown by an employee. However every year or twice a year there should be an increase and normally it goes like 500 increment. For this you need to write an official letter to your company for an increase and then it is their internal procedure after that.
salary increase is discretion of the employer if it's not stated in your contract authenticated by the Ministry of labor.
yeah. too bad they sometimes have double standards here. depending also on your nationality.
You can make a formal written request and wait for a formal written response.
If there is no response, you can send a reminder within a week.
That is the best you can do.
So far, working for local companies will not get you far.
