The new law will require all existing employees to sign new contracts. That is possibly the best time to leave.

It is unclear at present what will happen if you resign / leave now. If your current company will give you an NOC then you can consider it

Looks like after the new law is implemented, employees will have to sign new contract copies, which will be for a duration of 5 years. It seems you cant leave your company before finishing the contract.

Maria, We love this place, nobody would want to leave it for a small reason ......... Do not resign. Go to your manager's office just after the staff goes home, talk in a free manner, tell him your feelings, actually ask his advice , he will feel honoured so he will give you a promotion withing six months plus an in term increase ............ keep a smile on your face while you discuss this issue, spend atleast 45 mins inside his office , prepare coffee for both of you at the end ............ you will see , all your issues will be resolved in one meeting ............

Just wait for the new Labour Laws to come in and get implemented. Then take your decision. No one knows yet for sure what's in that law.
