PO Boxes can be rented from any post office which provides that service. There are 28 post offices spread all over Qatar which provides this service, including the Head Post Office located on the Corniche. There are more than 45000 post boxes in all these post boxes, with the Head Post Office accounting for more than 25000 Post boxes.

There are two kinds of subscriptions for post boxes-for companies and for individual. The annual rent for the individual PO box in the Head Post office is QR 300, whereas in branches it is QR 200 per anum. The PO Boxes in the Head Post Office are electronic ie electronic cards are issued to open them. One card(white) costs 60 riyals, two cards(silver) 120 riyals and 3 cards(gold) 180 riyals. Branch post office issues keys and charges a one-time fee of 60 QR for the key.
