Don't be so disheartened Haris, you will surely find a job of your choice very soon.As accha said never allow your confidence to break. This might be just a test from the Almghty and it will pass.

Please don't allow your mind to wander.Keep focussed and am sure your prayers will be answered without more delay.Continue applying and indulge more in your hobbies which might drive away any unwanted thougts.

My prayers too.......

Haris7, why are you focusing only within Qatar, you have a Masters in Electrical Engineering, the world is your playground for better opportunities out there and yet you choose to be here. You sound like you are still young and single, you should try to find something in Asia, start with mid size company and as your experience grows, move to a bigger/larger cooperations. Try to look into places like Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Malaysia. All the best!

Harris & aachabaccha... if you need job, why not try Samsung C&T or SOQ JV & PORR, they are main contractor of Doha Metro & they still have a lot of manpower requirements...

One should be globally mobile to avoid such lows in life. Shouldnt be obsessed with a place/ company or anything else for that matter. Life is there where you have the opportunity to do what you want, have money, freedom & respect...the first two should be the drivers and non negotiable specially if one is a professional.

Haris, I am in the same boat as you are. I have 20 years experience in supply chain management in the middle east but have been without a job for six months now. It is all apply, apply, and no reply. Yes, there were times when my heart was in my boots just as yours and I cried internally. But then I have never allowed my confidence to break. I am still fighting it out and hopefully I may be able to turn the tide in my favor. Just keep your head up and while making efforts, and take the support of prayers.

MM: You are great! I appreciate the hand of help you have extended to Haris at this critical period of his life. This act speaks much about you.

I am really surprised that it Is difficult to find job for engineers in UK after studying there. If you like your profession and passionate about it, stick to jobs in the same field, let it be sales or service or supervision, be willing to do any job in your area not other jobs which will not contribute to your professional growth or satisfaction later. Money cannot give the happiness which you get when you are successful in your career.

Kris, Kris.. My mate... I'm not degrading any profession. You' ve taken me wrong. I had that profession as a part-time when I was studying. So I'm not disrespecting anything, In fact i was pretty much serious when writing down that note and I have more feeling of deep admiration towards any profession than you are trying to show...

I am a LLM graduate from Uk and a lawyer by proffession. I started my life in Qatar as a driver in a cleaning company. With gods grace after three years of long struggle in Qatar I run my own trading company. If you dont have patience and willingness to struggle I advice you to go back to your country. Try get some experience and come back.

I have a simplenadvice. If you really feel you are an engineer do not degrade the profession, though i have nothing against other jobs which are also respectable
