Confused between Job Offers

I have a job offer to work in KSA (remote area) with a Salary of 19,000 Riyals  in a family status. Meaning I can bring my wife there who is working in Doha. This is a Long Term Project in a Big Established Company. Meanwhile, I have a Job offer to work in Qatar for 12,000 QAR (small start up company). Please take note that Daily living expenses in Qatar is really high compared to Saudi. 12,000 plus my wife's salary is still lower compared to the Saudi Offer. What should I do?

I appreciate each and everyone's reply. Saudi is relatively safe for your information. Yes, to each his own. Thank you guys. I need to decide until Sunday.

Mufti: I know a few whose wives prefer not to work when they don't have to .. Makes for a better work / life balance and harmony

Anyway, to each his own

Your wife is working in Doha and you have job offer in Qatar. It is far better than going to Saudi.

Saudi Arabia is definitely cheaper than Qatar especially in the cost of housing. Then again housing is cheaper in remote areas than other places such as cities.Your savings would be much more compared to Doha. However, your family will not be comfortable as you may come across a very limited number of people and places where you could socialize and pass time. Schools may also be problem if you have school-going children as there are not many schools in such areas.

Cost of living is cheaper in Saudi . I would take the Saudi offer ..

The only proviso is that your wife should realise that you will be living in a remote area with small chance of socialising

Will she be ok with being a housewife..
