Here are the places that you can volunteer with in Qatar.

Qatar Charity (QC):

QC is one of the largest humanitarians and development organizations in the world, providing life-saving assistance to those hit by conflicts. Its main aim is to focus on the rising number of children orphaned by wars and conflicts in neighboring countries.

The charity aims to help people who are living in conflict zones and places affected by natural disasters, by using some strategies to support their education, and empower them

If you are aiming to volunteer to support people suffering from poverty and conflict, then QC is the place to register with.

QC launched a website for all volunteers who are willing to be a part of Qatar’s 2030 vision to make a difference in communities.

Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS):

QAWS aims to help weak animals in need by rescuing them and giving them a shelter in Qatar. QAWS has opened its doors for any volunteers to help abandoned animals.

The society is active on their Facebook page and it can give any volunteer all the details about the tasks that they will be doing if they volunteer with QAWS.

FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar:

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is scheduled to be the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be one of the biggest international events in Qatar.

It is estimated that the tournament, the first FIFA World Cup in the Arab world, will need between 14,000 and 16,000 volunteers.

Ministry of Public Health (MoPH):

MoPH had a volunteer program called “For the Sake of Qatar” that was launched in March. In this program more than 35,000 citizens and residents stepped forward to volunteer in Qatar’s fight against COVID-19.

If you are willing to support the society in this tough time , you can join the MoPH volunteer program. You will be trained to know your duties during the program.

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS):

QRCS aims to have more volunteers to provide an environment to train them, develop their skills and improve the work they do.

The society moves as a part of the Qatari society, aiming to improve and meet the needs of its citizens and residents, allocating for this purpose all its resources, expertise and human resources in a way that achieves its core mission and contributes to the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Volunteering is a fulfilling activity to help the society that you’re living in, and all of the previous organizations are only few of hundreds in Qatar.
