The FIFA Club World Cup 2020 Qatar will commence from 4th February 2021, allowing 30% of fans in the stadiums.

Here is a guide on how to reach the two stadiums - Education City Stadium and Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium via Doha Metro.

Education City Stadium

The Education City Stadium, dubbed as the 'Diamond in the Desert,' embraces several sustainability features such as direct access to public transport via the Education City tram system link to Doha Metro and low toxicity indoor materials that provide a healthy indoor environment.

The nearest metro station to the stadium is the Education City Stadium metro station (Green Line). It's a 5-10 minute walk from the station to the stadium.

You can access it from the Red and Gold Line by stopping at Msheireb station and changing to the Green Line. You can also stop at Al Bidda metro station from where you can change to the Green Line that leads to the Education City metro station.

Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium

The 40,000-capacity Al Rayyan Stadium, built on the site of Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium. The stadium’s glowing façade comprises patterns that characterize different aspects of Qatar: the importance of family, the beauty of the desert, native flora and fauna, and local and international trade. The stadium is adjacent to the Mall of Qatar and within walking distance of Al Riffa Metro Station (Green Line).

You can access it from the Red and Gold Line by stopping at Msheireb station and changing to the Green Line. You can also stop at Al Bidda metro station from which you can change to the Green Line that leads to the Education City metro station.

Social distancing measures will be implemented within the vicinity of the stadium, including the fan zone and on Doha Metro. Wearing of masks is mandatory in the metro and the metro stations.

You will only be allowed to enter a metro station with a ‘’Green’’ on your Ehteraz application. Click here to know more about the categories of fans allowed in the stadiums.
