How to go fishing in Qatar
Fishing in Qatar can be a nice activity for you and your family or your friends, where you can enjoy the beauty of the local beaches and relax as well.
Fishing can be a special experience for you, but if you are a beginner, this article will help you learn some of the key things you need to know when setting out for your fishing trip.
First in order is the equipment required to go fishing. Here are some things that you would need for fishing in Qatar:
-A fishing rod and reel
-Fishing line / Braid
-A package of fishing weights
-Fish hooks (Number 1–10 size), depending on the targeted Fish
-A plastic or cork bobber
-A selection of live bait or fishing lures, Jigg's (based on the methods of your fishing)
Next, you will have to decide whether you will go Shore Fishing or Off-Shore Fishing. Based on your decision, you will pick from the following equipment:
- Shore fishing: requires you to have Live bait fishing, and Shore Casting / Jigging.
- Off-Shore Fishing: it requires live bait fishing, shore Casting / Jigging, and trolling
