Visit VISA extentions - Coronavirus Situation

Does anyone have any information regarding extending a visit VISA after expiry once again?

I was unable to do it on the government website. I am looking for personal experiences from people, especially those from the UK.

You will get extension approval message 1 week before expiry After that you can extend normally through METRASH. If not getting message call metrash helpline 234200, then they will make request for you.

I've been advised to visit the Immigration dept. in Gharrafa.

Their work timings during COVID19 are 8 am to 1 pm.
