Sponsorship : What's True and False?!!
Hi,
My husband's contract has been terminated and his sponsor refuses to give him an NOC.
I'm currently working in a good company but since I'm under husband's sponsorship, my RP will be automatically cancelled after the cancellation of my Husband's visa.
I tried to transfer the sponsorship from my husband to my current employer but a guy from the immigration department said that it's not possible.
My company suggested the following:
- Renew the company's CR (they said that their commercial registration and Computer Card are expired and they need at least 2 weeks to be renewed)
- Request a Quota (they informed me that Quotas for women from Arab countries takes at least another 2 weeks)
- And finally once I go back to my home country they'll present the documents to the immigration department and I should wait for at least 2 months to get the Work Visa.
My question here, is the above true? Is there any other solution to continue working with my company without have to wait them to sponsor me?
Also is it true that after I receive the Work permit, my husband won't be able to return to Qatar even if I sponsor him and he'll need to get an NOC from his previous employer in order to be under family sponsorship?
Many Thanks,
Dear Ma'am,
Did they ask you to pay for their document renewal?
If not, then the info is correct to a very good extend.
If your company gives NOC then you can sponsor your husband without his previous company NOC but again that is not as simple as it looks.
Your company should be reported for firstly employing you in such circumstances and secondly for suggesting this course of action
Firstly, the employer is not obliged to give an NOC - as per current law.
Secondly, your company is playing games. Why should you pay to renew their CR and registraion card.. This is illegal..
lastly, there is no guarantee that they will bring you back after you have spent monies on their behalf.
