RP cancellation

Hi all,

could someone share their experience or advice me.

My wife was under my sponsorship ( family resident) and went to India on Aug 2019 and her QID got expired dec 2019.

I am planning to bring my wife back to qatar by applying new family visa, so I cancelled her old RP around 52 days back. There was some penalty shown on her RP and I paid that as well.

I don't understand..why there is some penalty on my wife qatar ID even though I cancelled.

First of all, what would you gain now by knowing the reason behind the penalty.

Secondly, you should have asked this question of the authorities before you went ahead and made the payment. Isn't it not too late now to fret over this matter?
