Permanent Family Visa Application

I submitted my application with all the required documents( exceppt bank statement which was only for 4 months) for permanent visa in the Garafa office but the the officer refused to accept the application with 4 months bank statement. I again submitted the application with 5 months bank statements and luckily the application was accepted and but the officer did not look into whether the bank statement is for 5 months or 6 months.

The initial status of the application in the visa tracking web portal was under review but today the status was changed to "Deferred". Therefore, kindly advise me on the following;

1. What does this status mean?

2. Shall I have to visit the immigration office and upon visit, what should be justification that I should furnish them?

3. Is there any chance of getting this application approved/rejected.

4. Kindly advise me on any other matters that I should consider before going to immigration office.

I did mine in October, 2014 I believe.

Well not on the same counter, There's a reception counter on your the left side (when submission counters are in the front) in same building, ask the guy you want to meet Committee (Lajna) for Resident visa issue, he'll give you a date and time. they usually give a month late date, so try if you can get an earlier date. (I tried but couldn't get, Wish you best)

Dear Ingeniero,

Thanks for your response. Kindly let me know when did you submit your application. Further, when I go to immigration office tomorrow, what should I tell them? I believe I should go to the same counter where I submitted the application. Kindly advise me .

My case was similar, I had only 4 months statement, and at the time of appointment it was 5 months. So If your salary is good enough, you've accommodation, and bank statement 5/6 months. they'll approve it.

Visit Immigration Office in morning, and ask for appointment with committee, (They call it Lajna in arabic)

they've give a date - mostly couple of weeks or a month late, on that date, visit Immigration with copy of all your documents along with your latest bank statement. they'll check, ask you couple of questions and tell you to see in system in couple of days.

All the best insha Allah
