Hi All,

I want to bring my wife on a family visit visa (not family resident visa) to Qatar, Today I went to Messaimer Immigration to submit my application and they didnot accept it and said me need housing contract,

I had attached the following document,

Application Form

NOC from my company

My Job Contract

Attested Marriage certificate

Bank Statement

My Passport and QID Copy

and Wifes Passport

Can you please advice me, is it must to show housing agreement for 1 month visit visa.

Its doesnot make sense for me, I can make my wife stay in hotel..

Hi All, no need house agreement or bank statement for family visit visa, and its doesn't make sense as well, just for 1 month which real estate agency in qatar gives contract,

Finally i could get it done at Rayyan service center,

I think Messaimer Officers are not properly aware about the visit and resident visa or they purposely make people hard..

Why don't you let her get "visa on arrival" at Hamad International Airport. I believe the government has made things very easy now. There have been so many comments and posts on this subject at Qatar Living wherein the steps to obtain such a visa have been outlined.

if its only for 1 month apply for tourist visa...otherwise try in main immigration office gharaffa. they will look for house agreement if applying for family visit visa..
