Family resident visa taking forever

Hi guys.

Applied for family resident visa in December. It was Under Review then it was rejected. We got appointment with committee and they said it is approved and the status became Under Process and it has been like this for almost 3 months. Each time we go to immigration they say it is approved it should be ready to print and still nothing!

Anyone had same issue? Is it because of political stuff restrictions since i am Lebanese?

I am on a visit visa since last year did it twice and my 6 months will expire soon. I don't understand why i it so hard to live with my husband in this country :(

So do u know how long does it take for CEID approval? I had mine approved since January that's what they said and it is at aiport security . The application will expire in July i am afraid it won't be done before that..

Hi, I am also Lebanese and applied for a family residence visa.

it was approved by the Immigration but since we are Lebanese, the visa has to pass by the CEID

Each country has its own 'internal' policies .. Since your husband is an American national , things may be easier in the UAE

If that's the case then it is definitely because you are Lebanese. My colleague is also Lebanese and he had to go to Dubai because of issues with Qatar Immigration.

It is so hard because Qatar wants to make life for expatriates as difficult as possible.
