Employment VISA

Hi All,

I went for vacation in July 2007 & due to personal reason i unable to return back to Doha and  my VISA was valid up to June 2008. In August 2010  I got a new Job  but my employment visa was rejected. I do not know the reason behind the rejection.

But in 2014 I Visited Doha with GCC on arrival Visa. This means i am not black listed by previous employer .

I want to apply for jobs in Doha but I don’t know whether I will get the employment Visa or not.

My question is -

1)if my previous employer not cancelled my VISA( ie in 2007-2008)  then I will get the employment Visa or not?

2) As per the rule the VISA will be cancelled after six month or it will exist till the employer not cancell my VISA.

Thanks in advance for your valuable time and suggestion.

Dear Sir,

There could be many reasons but common reason is previous employee complaining, therefore you require to get NOC.

Without NOC you can enter the country on tourist visa, family visit visa & on-arrival visa.

Why does he need an NOC if his visa expired in 2008? Do we have an eight-year ban now??

Leave it up to your new employer to sort it out! Normally a visa is cancelled after one has been out of Qatar for more than six months. Visas are granted based on quotas for nationalities. Maybe the quota for your nationality has been exhausted.
