Birth Certificate for Mother aged 55 for visit visa

Hi,

I am trying to bring my mother whoes age is 55, when I tried applying in Metrash it is asking Birth Certificate? It is really hard to get a birth certificate for her now, I heard I can attach passport copies of mine and her together inplace of Birth Certificate. Can some one confirm this will get thro,?

Try with Passport copy and upload that
