Do not get vodafone they are liars and cheats

my phone has not been working for 3 months (since june 2014. everytime I call they tell me that it wil lbe fixed in 48 hours and that technical team are working on it.
it seems that they advetuse a pack of lies and get you to buy and then the pack does not work.
I cannot make international calls, ir send sms nor when i am abroad my phone works. it is a gold plan and i am suppose dot have all these postpaid facilities.
my strong advice is to avoid vodafone at all costs.
ooredoo might cost a few riyals more but it works. I was travelling and had emergency calls to make ot my family but neither they could reach me or I could make calls.
every time i call them, and i have called them 100 times over the last 8 months, they say it is elevated to the next level and it is givne high priority and that it will be fixed within 24 hours!!!!
just to give an update to all, still after 8 months my phone is not working and all what i get is to be told it will be fixed in 24 hours each time that i call them. they have no shame
Vodafone is the best !
People who use Ooredoo, say they are worst - people who use Vodafone, say that they are worst. Maybe everyone should switch over to other network so they can see that all are the same!!

Yes, me also feel it. Many time I complaint done to Vodafone. but they didnt take any action. they need money, illegal bills giving to each post paid subscribers. In my accomodation area not getting signal. i cannot call anybody. and cannot attend any calls. this s a stupid service provider.

The only benefit customers received with the arrival of vodafone in the market was that Ooredo got a good shake due to competition. Previously, when Ooredo had a monopoly, its rates were sky high. Between the two telecom companies, Ooredo still holds an edge over vodafone. The signals of vodafone are indeed very poor.
I have no issues if there are not towers eveywhere and due to that the coverage is not wide. i am talking about a service that i had and once vidafone changed the plan to a new version they stop my lifetime plan as they sold it, and so that i am forced to change my plan.
therefore, it is the lie and cheat that is the objective.
Vodafone has worst customer service, I bought a Vodafone for my daughter , we noticed it had problem on auto rotation, when i went back to city center outlet were i purchased , they send me to there service center , when i went there they send me to another place , just i had to roam here and then till i was exhausted the phone is still with me as it is. the staff was so rude in the city center outlet that i thought of banging the unit on his head.
I am also suffering bcoz of vodafone. i have not been able to activate the 10 dhs. promotion code and registered a complaint 1 month back and till now it is not resolved. everytime i get the same reply that the technical team is working on it and will be resolved within 24 -48 hours. the local call rates didnt change significantly even after the entry of vodafone. the call rates back home in my country are 10 times cheaper with better services.
Just my take, I do not think vodafone have their own towers etc etc in Qatar. are they not leasing services from ooredoo, so it all comes back to ooreedoo, also thanks to vodafone, ooredoo is being given a run for its money, I remember when ooredoo could charge what ever they wanted.
my friend oreedo is worse than vodaphone... both tel companies doesnt have proper support.... so but those are the only option. Oreedo doesnt have proper signal reception in my house it f.... in doha.. the capital city damn.... i have complained for months but yet to get service when i tell them to my pals back home they laugh... this is what these companies are and no where near etisalat
