Streets of Hungary decorated ahead of Qatar national team’s FIFA 2022 European qualifiers
Before the European qualifications for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the streets and public spaces in Debrecen, Hungary, were decorated with a promotional campaign for the Qatar national football team.
The Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen will host Qatar's Group A matches against Serbia on September 1 and against Portugal on September 4. Ireland, Azerbaijan, and Luxembourg are other members of the group.

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) conducted a promotional campaign in Debrecen as well as on its social media platforms, where it was enthusiastically promoted.
The main streets of Debrecen, as well as its main stations and trains, and the main streets of Budapest, were decorated with Qatari flags, advertisements, national team players, and information about the upcoming matches at the Nagyerdei Stadion.
Moreover, Qatar had a strong kickstart in the first three matches of the European qualifiers after its win over Luxemburg 1-0 and Azerbaijan 2-1, and a draw with Ireland 1-1.
