WATCH: Four safety tips to keep in mind while cycling in Qatar

Winter season is upon us, which means: more time to ride bikes!
Cycling in Qatar has become extremely popular in recent times. Cycling is one of the best outdoor sports in order to stay fit and healthy. It is also an environmentally friendly way to commute.
However, it can also be a dangerous sport If we do not take safety precautions.
Here are four safety tips to keep in mind while cycling in Qatar:
Stick to the right side of the road
Remember to keep about an arm’s length distance from the pavement to avoid running into any bumps and always be aware of the parked cars.
A good tip to remember is that whenever you pass by a car, assume that the car door will open. In that way, you can avoid any collision.
Be aware of intersections
It is especially important to be cautious at the intersections. When approaching a turn, slow down and allow cars to pass.
If you are making a right turn, stick to your side of the road and turn slowly. If you are making a left turn, make sure the road is clear, then move to the middle of the street, wait for the cars to pass, and then take your turn.
Make sure you are visible
When cycling at night, you need to make sure that you are visible. While having front and rear lights in your bicycle helps, wearing reflective clothing will significantly improve your visibility.
Cycle at designated areas when possible
Qatar has several excellent cycling tracks, make use of them when possible.

Molten: You need just one more. You plus your neighbour plus myself would make 3. You two can ride ahead of me and I will be keeping an eye on your rear side for safety purposes.
Make a group of 3 neighbours and then start it ........
