First Qatar International Open Parachuting Championship to kick off next month
As Qatar continues to strengthen its role as an unparalleled sporting hub in the region, yet another thrilling event is set to unfold in the country.
The Qatar Air Sports Committee (QASC) has announced that the First Qatar International Open Parachuting Championship will take place in the Sealine area next month.
Bringing together teams from eight countries including Austria, Denmark, Germany, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Slovenia, and host Qatar, the unique competition will run from February 5 to 8, 2021.
According to a video shared by QASC on its official Twitter page, the championship will see two competitions in the Men's Category: the 4-way Formation Skydiving and Accuracy Landing.
While inviting the public to witness the action, QASC has promised "exciting and professional shows" as part of the event.
The championship will open on February 5 (4 pm) at the Doha Sealine Dropzone.
