hi everyone,
im moving out this week with my wife following about 6 weeks later, she wont be working at first and we were wondering if there are any womans groups or regular get togethers, coffee mornings etc where she can meet others and find out all about life in doha, we dont have children yet and shes worried it will only be mums and toddler groups etc, any help or advice would be great as shes a little nervous about the whole thing

Plenty young (and toddler - free) girls in Doha, me being one. Welcome to Qatar, and I am sure you won't have any problems making friends.

and in expatgossip.com, the lady in there chocball arranging coffee too now and again for ladies in Doha. Ask your wife to log in there and find somebody with nick name chocball.

and i am aware this website also do get together ... last time i read was football :-) That maybe more for you.

there are another group call ladies tuesday group ... they meet up twice a month every tuesday. You will have to find the marhaba book and find the contact person for the group.
