Where to dance?
Where do people go dancing in Doha? My husband and I like all sorts of dance: ballroom, swing, Latin, polka, you name it. Last year I saw a Scottish country dance group advertised, but I don't see any sign of them this year. Are they still around?
Qatar Happening lists Filipino Ballroom Dancing courses. That looks interesting, but are non-Filipinos welcome? Also, do they have social dances, or just lessons?

There are classes at Pepka Yoga (www.pepkayoga.com): Wednesdays evenings is an Open Class and then in September, both Monday and Wednesday with various levels. The schedule and bio for the instructor, Abby, is on the website.
There is also a great new night (Tuesday) to dance socially at The Pearl in the Marriot. There is a sushi buffet as well. Dancing starts at 10:00pm until late. 50QR for men to enter and that comes with a complimentary drink. The night is very nice with plenty of space on the dance floor and talented dancers.

I want to know where I can merengue. Are there any spots strictly for merengue? Oh yeah I had another question, Do they break dance out there? I use to break dance alot out here when I was younger. I figured since I am going to have lots of time now, I might start breaking again. Thanks for the help!
