as an egyptian female it was very interesting for me to read all these opinions about egyptian girls!! i believe that all your opinions are true, because as in any society every girl is different. but yes a lot of us are jealous and traditional in general. but the girls of the middle class are the ones with brains mostly.

here is what I think of egyptian girls. There are some who are really open minded and fun to hangout with and also there are some who are really annoying, arrogant and extremely boring....etc. And actully for people who said egyptian girls are complicated, I think this is true about all women in general.

I m an EA (Egyptian-American) guy and have lived in the US for 10 yrs...I dated egyptian girls in the US that we FOBs and Americanized...but in my opinion they are all the same no matter where they lived. They are of the very jealous type and controlling but very simple in nature. They are irrogant and stubborn but sweet...so in conclusion, they r complicated somewhat.

From my experiecne, what i learned is IF WE ARE GOOD, AND BEING DECENT, GIRLS WILL ALSO BE GOOD WITH US. Their can be exceptions, but basically all people are good. I never mean their beauty.

If your question is regarding their beauty, i can answer only with respect to any particular girl. They are very beautiful Egyptian Gals, and also average beauties.

But THE BEAUTY WHICH EXISTS FOR EVER IS THE BEAUTY OF THE HEART. that is independent of your caste, colour or creed or nationality

Hi... i'm just new here and somehow interested to work in Qatar. I dont know how to post my new topic therefore i used this to know that i exist, :).

Would it be possible for women to work inside the industrial area (Ras Laffan), in plant construction for administrative works?

Hoping to get feedback from you!

Thanks a lot!

Hi

I am a Qatari male, I used to know an Egyptian female, they are nice and understanding SOMETIMES, and woooooo so jealous, I didn’t like the last part coz I like to be free and not controlled, so any girl out there I am free guy, 34 yrs old not bad looking and sporty, from my experience I prefer European coz they like the same thing that is freedom, I don’t say that I am a player but the girl she has to be clever to control the guy not by ordering him or trying to control him by shouting or force, there is always logic.

I have never met an Egyptian Gal so I can’t form an opinion. I’m sure it would be an enlightening experience. I am moving to Doha in Dec. Perhaps we can meet for coffee or tea one day?

Dont know about Qatari opinion, but in my opinion Egyptian girls are really cool, advance and modern as compared to guls local, jordanian and palestinians.

Aisha,

I agree with you...this is one thins i've learnt after living most of my life mixed with many multinational communities in different countries.

You can't generalise your opinion over a whole population.

It all depends on who you've met with and how you both reacted to each other.

I say this and i have enough personal experiences to prove it.

By dentist• 25 Oct 2006 11:46

DaHellOfAGal,

I find it funny how you are interested in so many odd topics...like whether or not there are any Jews in Qatar...and What Qataries think of Egyptian women!!!!

But i can understand how curious someone can be when they's new to a society or a place.

I've also noticed one thing...that not a single Qatari has responded to your question...although there are a few male Qataries here on this website...i would refer this to not being intereted in giving their opinion.

Your kind of questions don't really match your career posted on your profile but again i think you are just a curious girl.

How long have you been here in Qatar and what else do you do other than asking weird questions??!!!!

What part of Egypt are you from?? I can guess Alex !!!

By anonymous• 23 Oct 2006 12:22

Going by my limited experience with Gyppo gals at work, I'd say they're very hard working but not very bright (even though the ones I know come from top Cairo universities) and plain boring (socially). Somehow these colleagues of mine manage to rack up the maximum number of overtime hours while getting the least amount of work done. And, all of them (include the males) are very arrogant with below average social skills.

Now that's just coming from my limited exposure to Egyptian gals. I don't mean to generalise.

ok, now enough about egyptian gals in particular, since we are living in this region, we should talk about all middle eastern gals, which ones do u think are best to date or be friend with

By nowhereman• 18 Oct 2006 16:37
nowhereman

just left egypt, and lived there all my life so I know what am I talking about. and u're absolutly right it's wrong to generalize, but I'm sure, the way I described egyptian girls, isn't far from the truth of many of them.

The change in Egypt you might be reffering to in the last few years goes only for the look. What egyptian girls had done, is change their cloth to meet with western woman way of dressing, but I'm afraid far from having the same spirit. And this actually even made them more comlicated and not being themselfs.

And don't you think it's more likely to for an Arabic man to want to look for an egyptian woman than for an American !!!!!!!! You needn't try to justify yourself you know!

Anyway, this is supposed to be a Qatari forum, I hope we're not getting out of scope here..

My God...I think u haven't been to Egypt for quite some time man...

All I am sure of is that: UR WRONG...it is even wrong to generalize what u have said about all Egyptian gals...kinda illogic u c?

Most of the Egyptians I know are really nice. I like how spontaneously they act. Plus, I’m good at the Egyptian accent. I mean GOOD .. you can’t tell I’m Qatari ;-)

However, it’s always wrong to generalize..you know. Each individual is just him\herself.

By nowhereman• 18 Oct 2006 10:56
nowhereman

That's true butterfly, egyptians are hard to classify, from many different aspects, i think it's even hard to say how they look like.

as for education, the education system in egypt is not that good, and there are hardly any relation between someone's quialities and degree.

By butterfly• 18 Oct 2006 10:49
butterfly

I actually met a handful of egyptian girls who dream about finding a qatari husband, so that wouldn't be unheard of.

other than that, I find that with egyptians I can never make up my mind. I found some lovely egyptian people, very warm-hearted and smart. I also found some not so lovely. I think education and class play an important part.

By Muliebriamania• 18 Oct 2006 10:37

What do you care what Qatari men think of you? Or are you trying to find a rich one?

By nowhereman• 18 Oct 2006 09:24
nowhereman

Well, egyptian girls!! this might start a war, but I think the majority are boring, not adventurous, routine lovers, complicated without a reason, hardly being natural and spontaneous.

I doubt being smart, but ofcourse this doesn't have to include all of them.

If any one knows an egyptian girl, without such qualities, a smart sensative natural one, please contact me :)

Btw, I'm not a Qatari ;)

I have not formed any opinion about Egyptian Gals but from the movies and series they seem very romantic and sweet. I wonder why I never got to know an Egyptian girl...I mean there must be about 20 Million Egyptian Gals between the ages of 18-40 (Group that i consider possible to Date)

Anyway.....
