Very awkward
Well,I'm new to this site but I'll do my best to keep my pace and stay on here as long as I can hehe.
Well,I gotta say,writing such question on a forum wasn't really an idea that would come to my mind but I thought "hey,it's now or never" right?
So here's the whole story.
I've been to a restaurant today with my friend (J.) this weird thing happened.A girl that was sitting on the opposite table was looking at us as we were eating and talking (normal so far) and I told my friend to see if she was still looking and she said yea she is..Then her friends started looking at us as well and it kinda felt weird to be watched >.> I dunno..
Well,I'm not very good in situations like this so I walked to their table and said "hi" and as soon as I said that she said "no" O_O
To be honest,I wasn't gonna say anything other than "why are you staring at us? isn't it rude?" but I felt very embarrassed when her friends started laughing and me standing there..To be fair,I was angry but I smiled and said "excuse me but,could you keep your eyes somewhere else,we're trying to eat not be stared at" and she said "why? you're a cutie,sit with us"
Seriously I felt very awkward and had to leave the restaurant and J. was very embarrassed,But seriously now, aren't girls suppose to be the shy ones?

Ok first off,J is a girl and I didn't get off my seat and bother myself to go all the way there to hit on a girl when I'm actually with one.

You reacted poorly....you could have been playful and rolled with the compliment ("Sorry Madam, but 'cute' is not on the menu here today").
