Things to do in Doha?

Hi guys :)

I've been in Doha for 9 months now and I haven't found anywhere to do any activities/sports yet. My work commitments also mean that I don't always have the same days off every week. Does anybody know of any clubs? martial arts centres? Just anything I can do here that isn't sleeping, partying or working?

Thank youuu :) looking forward to your responses :)

Surely there must be stuff to do :)

I've been here for a few months and checked at the Aspire and there are classes such as Yoga, Body Pump, spinning, swimming and they also play football there.  There is another swimming club too, i think its called doha dolphins.

In West Bay there is Qatar Tennis foundation if you like tennis.... and then there is Qatar Foundation, not sure but there must be some clubs there, i think it will be worth giving them a ring, the place is huge and they have really good facilities, so I've heard.

At the fanar they have coffee mornings and have Arabic classes if you fancy learning a new language (thats if you dont already speak Arabic) :)

I've been here for about a month (my dad moved here for work) and I'm getting this vibe off Doha that there's pretty much nothing to be done..I'm relying on uni to meet new people but other than that, it's not looking too good tbh.

There's supposed to be a thai-boxing club behind Ramada. The Falcon, if I recall correctly. Never been there though.

Otherwise, no idea of how to meet people here. Let me know how, once you figure it out;)

Been here only 1 month.  So what are the good days and good hours to go to the Rugby Club?  Is it a pub, or an actual club for activities?
