smoke.. first i thought you were kidding...

how you can love the place because of "most of the mobile shops are all together in one place"?...lol... and how come you fill tank of your car for 30 'bucks'.. what a monster with 136L tank do you have?? I usually fill in my tank for 30 Riyal (which is 3.65 times less)

:)

and hey what is 'Bebsy'?

for all those who posted "stay", what is there profession and how much are they getting pay?

Also, are they single or living there with their family? would these factors be the main source of their decision?

Any of the single who has voted "stay" here or just the family one.

I still wonder...

Well as it is quite clear there is a move getting steam over days to make expats believe it's not worth it anymore to stay. Those who can afford to stay should be one of four types of people the first are the untouchables, second professional ass kissers, third those willing to give good juicy concessions in overnight services and fourth the slaves who for them slavery no matter how bad here is better than nothing back home. Not belonging to any of the above categories, and lacking a good offer that makes life here worthwhile someone should seriously consider going back home especially when someone is only managing to satisfy consumption needs as for food ..etc, which can be satisfied back home. At least not to waste precious years serving in a place that won't hesitate to award your long years of services with an administrative deportation.

For a laid back person like me i like the life here, i like the life back home too but Qatar has more to offer not only for MONEY, but the way of living and to certain extents the standards too. I like how you find everything u want under one roof, i like how most of the mobile shops are all together in one place so i dont have to run around and there is a choice and competition between the shops. I know if i'm looking to buy a part for my computer, i'm going to get a better offer in the next shop :p I know i can fill up my tank with petrol for 30 bucks. Bebsi is 1 riyal, and i have a choice of a variety of different cultural food.

I STAY!

Stay Stay Stay! I would swap my UK passport for a Qatari one if they would have me. I have a daydream where I save the life of someone important and in return they make me a honorary Qatari. Yes I know, not going to happen but it is nice thought.
