Hi There

My husband and I have recently moved to Doha from the UK. I'm 25, very recently married and I am still trying to find a job here. I was wondering if there were any coffee mornings or ladies get togethers that I could come along to in an attempt to socialise with someone other than the four walls of my apartment : ). The boredom is starting to drive me slightly mad lol

I would love to make friends here and get together with other ladies in doha for a good chin wag, some laughs and intelligent conversation.

Any info, suggestions or invitations would be greatly appreciated!

Cathy : )

Hi there and welcome to Doha. As you are posting on the Forum, one has to be cautious with regards to personal information about oneself that you post on the Forum.

Be aware that there are many freaks out there so it’s better not to say too much.

I suggest that you contact the Uk Embassy Website in Qatar and check with them. They will have registered folks from UK there and Social Groups.

Take Care and all the best

Hi Cathy! Welcome to Doha :) Yes, there are a lot of socialising groups on FB if you are looking for one. But I'm not sure how "Active" they are in terms of meet-ups and get togethers.
