Yup, I'm all to aware of that, my background being science and all that :D It's a beautifully simple yet effective method.

You're not implying that morals are born from religion though, are you? Granted the basis for some morals owe their existance due to religion, but one does not have to be religious to have morals. In fact in order to be on this planet today, a social animal such as ourselves has to have a basic sense of morality in order to survive. You can see this basic sense of morality displayed in just about any social animal from wolves to pirahnas.

But don't forget, Jut, logic is only a convention of how to analyze things and not a religion, therefore not claiming to be truth. It only makes the cars run, the ACs work, the buildings stand, and the computers connect. It works and is constantly questioned and developed.

""Moral" and "Logic" never went well together!"

Yes, unfortunatly the lack of logical reasoning is one of mankind's greatest weakness.

Na.... Not depressed... but find it funny...

People miss the obvious and discuss the irrelevant.

How would it matter if it is legalized or not...

People who enjoy those services are doing even when it is not legal.. and people who choose not to... they wont do it even if it is Legalized....

Ramzam Kareem.... Jus for your info... I like Iftar Food :)

People wanna feel bad for the rights of prostitutes.....

Let us try stopping the politicians from Rapping us day in and day out....

Lets try stopping TV from killing our culture.....

then think of those who are selling themselves to earn...

we are selling ourselves for nothing.....

Its hard to absorb...but looking into the "miserable" mental & sexual life of the bachelors (especailly labor class) here.....either it should be legalised OR everyone should be allowed to bring in their families (no matter how much is their salary)...atleast it would reduce the homosexualism (which is on a high) in the labor camps.

..or isn't prostitution the oldest profession? every corner of the world has one.

come to think of it, most of them say they do it for necesities just to live.

it's immoral and against some doctrines but sometimes human needs and survival defers morality.

This will ensure proper control on the business which has been known to mankind since the dawn of humanity. It wil make the condition of health workers better and will uproot the illegal sex trade. It will also be good for the prevention of STD and measures to curb STDs will be more effective.

You all have been too cruel to prostitution, which is well known as the oldest occupation. These women are still people and prostitution is always going to exist - so legalise it and keep them safe from money grabbing and violent pimps.

atif242 said "...Any girl when she will face any hardship in order to have good life will turn out to be PROSTITUTE .. "

Not true. Many poor or middle class work hard and start with little and build up a good life, on their own merit. It depends on their circumstances as well.

if this profession gets LEGALIZED, then don't u think the purpose of STRUGGLING to have good life will vanish from human being's life.

.

Any girl when she will face any hardship inorder to have good life will turn out to be PROSTITUTE or forced by her own family members as it has EASY money, EASE money and only EASY money. Guys who are also now struggling to meet both ends meet will become PIMPS to get EASY MONEY, EASY MONEY and ONLY EASY MONEY

.

So QL readers, PROSTITUTION shouldn't be illegalized but also should be ELIMINATED from the face of the earth as the person involved in it looses its self-respect, eagerness to do hard work in order to achieve good life, good thoughts & deeds start to eliminate from such persons and mind it PIMPS will always be having eyes on every female. They don't care if she is your (wife, mother, sister, niece etc) or to which religion, country or cast she belongs to. If she is hot &beautiful they will first ask her politely and will surely kidnap her if a girl doesn't agree with them.

.

So just think about it and be fully against its legalization.

Ramadan Kareem for all QL members, from tomorow it is going to be Holy month, why such nasty questions ??

This topic is seen many times in QL,

First of all please know under what circumstances they get in to this trade,do you think they are very happy, many times we have read they are forced to this and continued to this as Society has a stigma against them which cant be wiped out.

I request person posted to get in to shoes of a prostitute for a second the agony they undergo in Society,it is a fun to talk but to feel , you must have a heartwho knows the pain.

It stands to reason that prostitution will happen regardless of it being legal or not.

Now when something is illegal and yet there is still demand a black market will pop up leading to organised crime as demonstrated with drugs, alcohol prohibition in the 1920's etc...

So the logical conclusion would be to legalise it. I would imagine this would take the power away from organised crime (people smuggling, fored prostitution, pimps etc...) and make it a safer profession for those who offer and use these services, as well as adding tax revenue.

Of course this will never happen because of "moral outrage" from whoever screams the loudest.

Yes, it should be legalized. Then it can be controlled. And those who do not want to use it, can just pass by (if they are serious.

We should find the base reson behind this. why girls are coming in this profession. In my view poverty is one of the main reason. Govt. should take inatiative to make thier life better before thinking to punish them. If any country Govt. cannot arrange work for them or rehabilate them then should not go for punish them also as well. In this case it should be legalize.
