Hi there, my parents and family live in the sand pit (Qatar)and i school in Australia and visit Doha a couple of times a year and get pretty bored at times. So i just wanted to meet some other international expats that live or visit Doha as well. Just to get together and have a few drinks, go duning, go to the movies, etc. Can be male or female!
So hit us back with a reply, please please please!!! I don't bite!!

The way he said the sentences was really negative and i would see why amnesia said that , and i felt the same way as he did .. especially from someone whos asking for help ^^ .

Anyway , lets not change the topic and fouce on helping him ^^ .

I would have been glad if i could help you with the "duning" part but the season is just wrong now and we really can't do it now :) .. its hot and the ATV's would need rest for 15 min every 30 min's and that would be really boring beleve me xD .

I think many comments are said because no one thinks they are offensive. Actually a sand pit is (as I am sure you well know) a place where kids build things out of sand and play in the sand so to be honest you could build a great deal here out of sand and not to mention all the young boys out with there bikes and cars playing in the sand. LOL

its because I find it odd that people have to find a way to say something so negative.

I remember once when I was in a taxi, a British taxi driver said "If the world had an a$$hole, England would be it". I thought it was funny, but then I thought, "if I had said that, someone might have taken offence".

So I believe at the end of the day it's better to show respect to each other.

I would have gladly introduced you to my expat friends, however calling my country a Sand Pit is insulting and I'm disappointed in such a comment.
