Ramadan's Virtues felt at Lulu Hyper.... :)

By alien_guest

So, I went to Lulu Hyper yesterday right after work to get something to eat. I was at the cash counter waiting for my turn. When it was my turn i phone rang,so there i was stuggling to put my stuff on the conveyer belt and answering my phone. The customer behind me saw this and helped me with my stuff and got rid of my shopping basket. He did this with a big smile on his face.

That was the fist time i experienced this little act of kindness. I thought of sharing this with ya all.

Ramadan Kareem once again.

I was at a busy store once and there was a huge queue. Everyone was patient and waited for their turn to pay and left. Has anyone experienced this?

I was carrying packets of roastery items and could not locate my trolley. One by one it started falling down and a guy offered his empty cart at the right time. I was embarassed but very thankful.

You dont have to wait for Ramadan to do a good deed.

The best thing you could do is keep the lift open for someone who is struggling to keep the lift open and pull the grocery bags inside. It is a big help if you shove the bags outside when you reach.

And be kind to your security, maid, cleaner, gardener and neighbour, EVERYDAY- Those who surround you decide your life.

I was at landmark and there was a lady in front of me at the counter..she bought some chocolates but her credit card was not working so I paid using mine..she thanked me and I asked her if she would like to have a cup of coffee..we had coffee and exchanged numbers and the story goes on..

and oh..it was not even ramadan..good deeds can be done everyday and then you can enjoy the reward ;)

I don't want to exaggerate ...

It was a family, seems local in LuLu D Ring , I helped the lady to put her items from the trolley onto the cashiers counter , looks like they had a liking to my ever smiling face i.e. a speciality on my rest / grocery shopping days...

Particularly on that eve I was carrying only a packet of Mcvities biscuits & a fresh milk 2L can only,

I was next to her, she & her husband forced me put my two items along with theirs & that way .....I had to accept ....their generousity ... !!

Still what ever was the reason, your reward will be [ is ]with you...

In situations like that ..

To reap the full benefit we need to be as cautious as in an exam.

Some important acts of worship/good deeds in the month of Ramadaan:

 Fasting

 Quran Recitation

 Taraweeh

 Eitekaaf

 Searching the Night of Qadr

 Charity

 Umrah

 Nawaafil (Voluntary Prayers/acts of worship)

 Feeding the poor

 Supplication & Remembrance of Allah

 Repenting & asking for forgiveness

 Saving oneself from sins

 Increase one’s Taqwa

Most importantly, train oneself for saving from wrong deeds and talks and hurting others. Its not just about abstaining from food and drink. Its about saving oneself from the wrong acts!

It is related that Abu Hurayra said that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah is not in need of anyone abandoning his food and drink who does not abandon lies and acting by them while fasting.
