Kiteboarding

Hello all! I will be in Qatar for 4 months and am looking to learn how to kiteboard. I am already a decent snowboarder, so I would probably pick up the sport quite easily. I've seen some postings, but they are from a few years ago, so I would like some current information.
I think I will be living in Doha, but I haven't confirmed that yet. I will likely be working at Camp As Sayliyah.

there is a facebook group- kitesurf in qatar i think. loads of k-surfers there with lots of info.

and I believe one of my colleague in the office is an instructor. But Marc left for a short holiday in Holland and will be back by the 23rd May.
