I work for ma living , not the otherway around

having worked in the gulf for almost 10 years and seen the corporate rat race...i would just go for a job which i enjoy doing and most importantly, i need complete freedom to call the shots..
i once told my boss...my area of work is like a cage of a tiger, as long as people are away from the cage, they are safe..
It is a good immediate boss
my current boss sucks
1> Company Brand -MNC or local Small trading Company
2> Dignity and Respect by Boss
3> Good Boss
4> Good Increments and Bonus each year
5> No Bias by Boss
6> Good perks like good car by company , good mobile allowance and nice cabin to sit
7> Good challenges and growth oppotunities
8> Good overseas trips to exhibhitions and factories of suppliers
9>Decision making powers
10>Less paperwork , less meetings ,less report formats
11>Boss who knows the business model than only the processes
12>Boss who can go out on the market with collegues than sit in airconditioned cabins making report to the CEO
If all above are present then it is ideal Company to work in .
come on Rezyz...no 3 will anyhow u need to do if you are working as u dont have any option... the main thing is getting appraisals after u work hard. do u think everyone gets the nice bonus and appraisals other than managers/supervisors???
I had experience with top MNCs and small 15 people company both. and have seen that at both the places eventhough u work on most challenging things, u r still bagging for the promotion.
