How to find a Cheap Flight from Middle East
I think Middle East is the best location to explore Asia and Europe due to its location. There are many options on how to find a cheap flight ticket and there are so many alternatives that you can choose from.
I was living in Oman before moving to Qatar. A peaceful country nothing more to say. Weekends I was used to travel a lot. As you have two days off you can spend your weekend in Dubai or I was used to travel to Doha also. You can find really good deals. There are high class fights and charter one’s as well, I was used to fly for OMR10/- to OMR 30/-. It was cheaper than going to airport by Taxi.
This time as I have moved to Qatar, things changed a little bit. Everything is so expensive here and of course you pay as you are living in the world’s richest country Qatar. As I am counting the days for my annual leave I was lucky to find a good deal. I already find out the way how to find a cheap flight ticket from Doha.
Here I will give a list of the websites that I use every time and the way that I use to find the cheapest flight ticket every time.
www.flydubai.com
If it is not valid, ask information desk they will provide you with a map and on ground floor you can take metro to avoid the traffic.
I will suggest you to go and eat Turkish food
If you are travelling with Turkish Airlines they hve special offer for the ones staying in airport more than xxx hours. They take tourists on a free Istanbul tour. Just ask guest operatings or information desk, not sure if it is still valid.
Completely true, I am booking using this site and on my way to Doha via Istanbul on the 17th of August.
I will have a 15 hours lull at the airport, any suggestion please.
I am planing to travel Boracay and stay for a month there after we finalize the construction here, I will make a tour and started working on it from today.
Also Japan is a must to see.
FG,
Also Sri Lankan Airline is one of the cheapest to travel eastwards to places like KL and even Maldives..:)
Currently Turkish Airlines has a Ramadan promotion which costs 1060 QAR return flight tickets to Turkey.
• Sign up with a frequent flier program. I have Miles & Smiles card for Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Card for Pegasus Airlines and 4 more cards for other airlines. The cards are great way to earn miles, free upgrades and free lounge access. I do not buy a flight ticket if it does not add miles to my card.
List of the Airlines I have used in Middle East to find a cheap flight.
Qatar Airways
Turkish Airlines
Pegasus Airlines
Gulf Air
Fly Dubai
Air Arabia
Emirates
Ethiad Airways
Air Arabia

Fly Dubai
• Change the destination point. I don’t mean the city just the secondary airport. For example in Turkey – Istanbul there are two airports. Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen. You will realize that Sabiha Gokcen airport is always cheaper than Ataturk. Because Sabiha Gokcen is the airport most cheap budget airlines fly into. And note that you will find better deals in your connecting flights.
• You can try alternative routes. Instead of flying directly to Egypt and paying more, just fly to Istanbul and then fly to Egypt. You will pay less and explore one more city if you leave enough time between the flights even for cheaper.
• Start with changing your travel dates. Be flexible and you will find out that it is always cheaper to fly during the middle of the week or just after a major holiday. Even a day will save you so much money if you choose the right day and timing.
• If you did not set your destination then why not try and explore a new city. Kayak is working best for Europe and I will advise you to use FlyDubai website for Middle East. Just mention the departure and they will list all prices to various destinations and try something new for your next holiday. I usually bought my tickets this way and find it more exciting.
List down all the airlines and now it comes to the point to check each airlines websites one by one. They may have special promotions and you can view the prices clearly for the flexible travel days.
I have bought my ticket to Turkey from Pegasus as they have started their operations in June and it is one of the cheap flight tickets I have purchased. In the meantime do not forget to check competitor airlines as Turkish Airlines. They will compete with these prices and as of today you will see that they have reduced their prices and started a campaign with certain terms conditions and you can fly %50 cheaper than before.
Thanks for sharing. Waiting for the website links!
• As soon as I choose the route, I check mainly the airlines operating for those cities. There are so many flight price comparison websites but I prefer to use Skyscanner because of its clean template. Just Google it you will find. I don’t just go with the prices listed in that website. As most of the flight comparison websites are owned by flight companies, don’t rely on them. Skyscanner just gives me the answer of airlines flying to my destination.
