Hey everyone
I actually don't know where to start from, but I would like anyone to advice me, I got a job offer as a cabin crew for Qatar airways, I am Egyptian but I live currently in Dubai, I don't know anyone in Qatar, and i am worried to leave everything in my life and just move to Qatar, I would like any members who are and are not working for Qatar airways to clear it for me, how's life in Qatar in terms of socialising, in terms of facilities and in terms of entertainment as well

Thank you ALL :).. Roosh

I've traveled around a fair amount and met people from all over. The place matters a lot less than the person. If your sociable you'll be alright almost everywhere if your not then your screwed.

any issues with regards to social life here.

A lot to do here in Qatar, if you are smart enough.

Thank u all for replying

I am just confused, I heard a lot about terminating issues for no reasons, this been always my dream job, but once I heard the rules of the company and the country itself, I started to back out, I know life is not all about goig out and having fun, but once you move to a new country you will be keeping this in ur mind

Take it from me, just apply for emirates or etihad..... More stable! U can see urself growing in those company without the fear of getting terminated just for silly reasons. Most of the cabin crew and even pilots are leaving QR for etihad or other airlines.

As cabin crew you will have a ready-made circle of friends to socialize with.

the question is what do you want (one choice only) entertainment and socializing OR a good job?

I think that covers most of your questions...

In regards to the life here... it's pretty restrictive but, as usual, money talks... if you have the money, then you can have a lot of fun (you will need a lot more money if you love clubs and such... if you're more of a shisha and lemon with mint girl... you'll love it here).

Future is Doha as the market in Dubai is bad.. People are migrating from Dubai to Doha and we did the same just 4 months back. U have freedom same as Dubai but no much entertainment and socialising. They are many hard rules which keep changing often. If u are looking ahead for your carrier i think u should move on. And if u are young and just want to socialise and enjoy better be happy where you are..:)
