A help for a friend, and how i got writing....
{My friend did a site for profiling his photography works and i didnt like the way his profile was written. So i took the liberty of copying the words, retaining the crux, and rewriting it completely. I just thought of posting it in here. I sent him this new version via e-mail. Now only if i knew how he would react...}
A fascination towards the play of lights, and the power of capturing decisive moments for eternity, made photography my favourite playground. I grew up with a fascination of eternalizing those moments that come so rare and far in between. My eyes for the tiniest details were always something that led me on while growing up…
…and that’s how I discovered the joy of photography.
I found pleasure in capturing moments that looked common to an untrained eye. I realized that making statements with light and shade gave me my greatest joy. True, I was aided in my quest for the less-seen by a degree in Visual Communication and a post-graduate diploma in photography from the Ambition Photography Academy. They were instrumental in teaching me how well I did things that I did best!
K L Ponsing and Muthukumar - my two guides in life - taught me that excellence was never a destination, but an ever-lasting journey.
I took the oft trodden path, but it won me my means of bread and butter. I did my work with lots of sincerity and sure enough, assignments came calling. Displayed in this little space of mine on the web, are a few of my favourite moments, frozen in time. This is my world, as I viewed it, through the crystal clear viewfinder of my Nikon camera…
Welcome aboard, to my moments, my life, as I saw it!

led me on-----captured my imagination
I found pleasure in capturing moments that looked common to an untrained eye or;
I derived pleasure from documenting the mundane (the rest is a bit patronising to none photographers)
less-seen - the elusive
hope you don't mind my suggestions :)
Never heard it referred to in this way, the 'play of light' is the plural form no matter how many sources. 'Lights' just sounds clumsy and too elongated.

No hassles. But what if light came from two sources? two different coloured lights maybe?
I understood what you said, but i think it could stand. thanks for pointing out to me!
'A fascination towards the play of lights,' - 'light' is the plural as well as singular in this case when refering to visual criticism. Sorry to be a pendant but it really stuck out.
Peace
