Halaqa, playgroups etc.

As salaam Alaykum,
I am new to Doha (two months here) and I really want to get to know some other Muslim sisters. I saw a post on some halaqa that look very nice and I am interested in. I also have a toddler and would love to find either some playgroups or sisters with children who would like to get together. I just really would like to get to know some other women here :). I speak English, and unfortunately my Arabic is very poor (though inshallah will get better now) Thanks! Ilham

I guess you could get some info about Muslim groups etc. at your local mosque or at al Fanar?
