It's better not to bother to reply to ads without a local contact number.... Almost all ads without a local contact number are from very smart frauds.....

I too happened to contact this person who calls himself Humada. Here is the email that I received from him:

When i got there for the viewing they will never show up and when i called there phone they will keep on banging the phone on me so it has been a very sad and disappointing occasion for me and i waste a lot of money also for transport when coming for the viewing, so i don't want that to happen to me anymore.

Here is what I propose:

The service name that we'll use is Western Union transfers. You must find the nearest Western Union agency in any bank and you go to Western Union and you send cash 7500qr for know you have money cash for the rent when i meet you to any name you want for have warranty keep the flat only for you and don't lost my time....When make payment you will pay transfer fee but don't worry about this because i will give you back for you don't pay extra money.

The transfer must to be like this:

sender name : your name

sender address : your address Qatar

receiver name : friend,wife name,brother,mother,father, etc...

receiver address : United Kingdom

If you have here any person, friend , member family in Uk it's perfect ..... made this western union payment prove for him name and address in Uk.

(In case you probably do not have relatives in the United Kingdom, but it does not matter. You just assume for a moment that your member family is in United Kingdom and is not problem if this it's not there....... You go to Western Union and you say that you want to send the money to your member family, who is now in the United Kingdom).You need put United Kingdom country destination just for can check my self the transfer status.... because the operator can check only if the money it's sent in UK not in another country....

Then you send me a copy,photo of a receipt by e-mail. I will check if the transfer is real and I come to present the flat.This is a transfer from a person to a person and takes about 10 minutes.Or in case you have here person make this transfer for him name in United Kingdom.

I don't have time lost with all the person ask me about the flat .... and meet in UK with this..... only after you prove me the paper Western Union and money it's available i can meet with this.... NO BEFORE THAT..... because i know 100% keep this just for you and cancel all talk with rest person.

Please don't insist give you building address because the keys it's with me and the flat address i will give you only the person prove me the receipt with the payment warranty.

I can come show you the flat next 3-4 days after is see the receipt western union with the payment done and money it's there cash available until the day you see the flat.

You must to know exactly......you will pay me the money for the flat cash 7500QR only face to face after you see the flat and if you like this i made the contract with you......., but now i need to know 100% you have money ready and my self for keep the flat just for you available... because not only you want see the flat and i don't have time lost.....

Or if you want i can send you bank account for you made this payment warranty for 4 months 10000qr before come in bank transfer account.

There you can check all the documents the car, engine, all you want .....(don`t ask about the documents because i will not send anything) after the execution of documents in your name, together we go to the bank and you change your name with my name so can pick up the money in England.

Guys, dont get cheated by these kind of emails.

I also tried inquiring on this and got the same reply.

This cheaters are not in Qatar. They either give wrong contact number or no contact number. Deals should be made person to person, not through email.

I am also received a mail, I think, from this same person, sub. was, he have a car for sale in qatar with low cost, the procedure was same things, so, we carefull about like this cheaters.

If it is too good to be true then it is not true,

Secondly the QL guidelines suggest not to respond to any adverts which suggests the seller to be outside of Qatar!

SCAM.....CON ARTIST.....be alert, dont fall in this trap....Law Enforcement must investigate and cease such fraudulent operations

Mods should do something about that... it's really annoying

Thanks same crap is happening with the cars as well...why dont these people get caught? They have people working inside Western union for sure else there is no way they can get away with this type of fraud. Grrrr
