Fishing Again ,,,

I have recently been transferred to Doha and looking for a team to join. I am into all kinds of fishing - trolling, jigging....

Let me know if anyone is going sea fishing and have an empty slot to fill in.

Sealine is a great spot...

I am an amatuer and even I caught a 7kg fish...

don't remember the name of the fish but it gave a helluva fight

broke my rod, almost thought the fish would get away but my friend stepped in and we pulled her in together with our bare hands (he had his gloves on)

but the fish didn't taste too good though

my dad was also in to fishing, he said there is some pier in Dukhan where you can catch so many fishes that you'd be inclined to let go anything below 5kg cos you catch so many...

where did you went by the way? :) I'm ready now to have lunch tomorrow from now ...

Thanks Guys I went early this morning at 5 am and caught 3 Big Fishes (called Sheri) all together were 5.5 Kilos

And the nomination is close....done deal now, except that the two are not yet here to accept the position..:)

I think the Social Group is looking for a new group manager that is why nobody is approving the subscription requests. I am just joining their outings when they have one and if I get invited.

But I think there is a move to vote DaRuDe to lead the Social Group!

This was a couple of weeks back, about the time you where all going to Zubra

only kebabs... the sea breeze gives the barbecue a real nice salty flavour...

if you spend the cold night at sealine waiting the big fishes hunting the small ones for breakfast to be caught by you.

But I didn't know that cold weather is better for fishing at the shore... thanks for the tip... now I just need to brave the cold night at Sealine...

specially early in the morning as at time the big fish come towards the shore to catch the small fish.

I need to get my stuff ready and go towards the Wakrah Jetty

Keep your eyes on the Social Group events and gatherings, one would be coming soon I guess ... When the water get cold, the fish will come to the low level water near the shore to feel the warmth. The fishes these days are really big, fat and taste a lot better than in summer. There is no more good spots to do so, but we will see. I'm planning to go to Sealine in one night with the moon up there and try to catch some. Some guys there are using Jet-Ski to do so :)

When the weather is cold the fish go closer to the shore where the water is warm

I have a big experience in Red Sea Fishing but new to Gulf

I heard that because its cold, the fish go really deep and its difficult to catch anything...

I suppose it doesn't matter much when you are deep sea fishing or trolling...

I am asking for my own benefit... sorry makdessi
