The Doha Tribeca Film Festival wants YOU!
Hello, just passing on some information which I saw on the DTFF's Facebook page.
The Doha Tribeca Film Festival is the first of it's kind movie festival in Doha. They are looking out for volunteers (remember what a huge success the Doha Asian Games was, all because of the volunteers?)
I AM INDEED having an ulterior motive in giving out this info. I desperately want this movie festival to succeed. Being a film buff, I know how tough it is to see good cinema in the Middle East. I've often envied Dubai for having their own film festival. Now that we have one of our own, I'd give my right hand to ensure it's a success.
Log in to face book and register yourself. You can find the facebook page here:

If you don't use facebook, then you could go directly to their site and register there. All the best. I have a feeling this would be a real fun outing. Be there.

Do you have any information regarding the 2010 Film Festival.
Myself and my friend would like to volunteer but are unsure who to contact.
Also - New clothing designer in Doha has arrived and would like some info/contacts on perhaps being involved with the film festival - fashion show or exhibition or assisting with various aspects of the festival.
Any information you could provide would be most appreciated!
Thanks
