Day time activities

Hi everyone, I arrived in Doha just 2 weeks ago from England. I would like some ideas on what there is to do during the day whilst my DH is working. I dont drive so it makes it difficult for me to get around and as Im new here I am very unsure about getting taxis. I am living in the Al Sadd area about 5/10 mins walk from the Food Palace. Is there any good gyms or does anyone live near by that I could meet uo with for a chat and a coffee.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks Sandra

Hi Sandy Welcome to Doha. You can do a lot of things and  can go anywhere if you have your own car ,because it's really difficult to take taxi. I can invite  you for cup of coffee....
