Australians in Qatar?

Hi there,

No doubt there has been a thread like this before, but I've only recently moved here and just wondering if there were any other Australians that frequent this site?

Must say I'm not used to having a place I know I can walk down to and socialise with a heap of young people (I lived in Brisbane CBD).

Anyway, hi to the Australians and hi to other nationalities living in Qatar.

I find it interesting that everyone wants to meet people from their home countries...isn't part of the experience of moving away from your home country to socialize and meet OTHER nationalities!!! Welcome Adam and hope you are enjoying Doha!

Well hello to all that replied. And for the brit my family moved to Australia on their own terms on the Great Britain in the late 1800s.

Cheers for the welcome, and Timtam you are right about the women. Beautiful ladies, but according to my parents, "not for me". :D
