Disney World is reportedly testing a new FastPass distribution system that would centralize the distribution locations. Currently, guests must go to a specific ride in order to get a FastPass for that ride. For example, if they want to get one for the safari ride at Animal Kingdom, which is located at the far end of the park, they must walk all the way to the ride entrance, using up valuable park time. Worse yet, in the busiest season they might get to the ride of their choice, only to discover that all of the FastPasses for that day have already been distributed.
