The High Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Eid Al Adha will fall on October 4th. Qatar will be celebrating Eid the same day.

Eid Al Adha holidays is traditionally celebrated for three days.

Expect a lot of people to leave the country for a short holiday, which means the roads might not be as congested as you see now, except for areas like Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village and other venues holding Eid celebrations.

If you plan on travelling this Eid, then make sure you check-in early and head out from home 3 or 4 hours in advance. HIA gets busy during this time.

Prayer Timings

Eid Al Adha prayer is soon after sunrise. According to the Ministry of Awqaf, the Eid prayer will be at 5:42am.
