what you need to look at is the exchange rate. im not sure what the rate of rupees to riyal is, but you need to do the comparison. you are a batchelor so you wont have the cost of school fees etc to pay as this could eat in to your budget. As suggested by someone else, stay in the accommodation given by the company - as rent can really be expensive. Then work out the exchange rate and see if you are better off with your wages in India or not. For what its worth, you will come out and experience a new life, meet new people and enjoy the peace and safe life of living in Qatar. Wishing you all the best

I am from India. It is difficult to compare the salaries in India with the one in Qatar as when compared to the living expenses. I am a bachelor. In India I get 45000 rupees per month in hand and living expenses in India can come around 10000 to 15000 rupees per month which includes food and accommodation.

Considering the above. Please suggest.

depend on you situation if could save some money and better than current salary go for it.

Thats very low. Youll get higher salary in Dubai.

but first, ask if they will give NOC after your contract

its too low for an linux IT/admin job.. but if your current salary is lower than they offer, then take it...

Suggest you accept the company's accommodation as this will take away a major portion of your income should you decide to live separately. Initially, use the transport facility provided by the company till you get your own car. In this way you should be able to save around QR 4000 if you can manage your expenses well.
