Systems Engineer in QP

I've been looking at few jobs opportunities in QP ICT for Systems Engineer or Senior IT Technician but im not sure how much should I ask for salary. I have a Degree in Computer Science and a Diploma in Network Security with 10 year relevant work experience.

I've been hesitating to apply since I have no idea how much should I ask for and dont want to feel stupid and arrogant to ask for a salary too high so basically I need some advice from user's here in QL as to how much should I ask for. I am mainly interested in working for Qatar Petroleum.

I am canadian if that makes a difference. Any helpfull tips will be greatly appreciated.

Around QR 30,000 to QR 40,000/month inclusive of benefits. Yes,Q cos pay the best so no one I know has turned down an offer.
