Should I accept this offer
Hello guys,
Need your advice for the following job offer: ($7000 Basic salary + $1600 Houssing Allowance + $400 car allowance)
is this a good start for a family with 3 kids (school for 2) ... can we live a decent life in a nice house or it 'll be just another place where we can barely survive?

basic salary is ok but the housing allowance, nah! you still have to get a slice of your basic salary to get a nice flat here.
schooling. Depends on the school and age but primary UK schools are around Qrs.7,800 a term give or take.
Their are other charges including registration, a deposit (doha college) and a capital charge (doha college).

Tought to get school places at times, so move quick.
Car leasing is note an issue here. Long term leasing is available.

I did reply your question about which sector as of experience it's 10years in the gulf.
Is it good enough with 2 kids only one school going, housing, medical and education paid for?? Will we be able to save with that sort but also not restrain from spending???

You cannot survive in Qatar it it is not $.
i think housing allowance is too low...1600dollars is only about 6-7000 riyals...you might not even find decent apartment (ithink)
