I truly appreciate your response to my post. I work in the education setting, and the job that being offered by QF is also in education setting. I'm an internationally trained professional and has certification in the states. I haven't received my contract yet, so I was actually looking for an answer to my questions regarding the salary being offered by the organization. Do you have any idea? Can you give a range as to what amount or basic salary to expect? Let's assume that it ranges from Salary Grade 13, 14 to 15. I honestly have no idea what to expect.

If you do not have a job at the current moment then i would accept, if you do have a job now then think twice cause lay offs are on the rise, and lay offs are happening quarterly.

Sorry for my vague post. I haven't received the contract yet. That's why I was thinking if I could get an answer to my questions in this forum. And by the way, the prospective job is in QF schools. So I have really no idea what to expect when it comes to salary. The only thing I know my salary grade is 14. That's it. And also they provide fully furnished housing with paid utilities. And free annual return ticket to your home of record. Transportation allowance etc. So that's it. I hope anyone could help me regarding the salary grade of 14. Thank you.

So, they make job offers without an indication of salary? Why do you react to that at all? Ask them.

QF has a set salary scale and benefits package. There is little to no room for negotiation unless you are being considered for a very very senior position.

This type of question serves no purpose - only leads to more confusion.

What if I said 35k QR minimum ? Would you stick to that.

It is best to identify what you would be happy with. Work out what you're getting now and what you'd like taking into account cost of living and savings.
