Qatar Gas housing
Hi,
Could anyone let me know, for newly hired senior staff at QG, where they are housing their staff? Is it in Al Khor or Doha itself (Is it true Al Khor is full and new hires are being housed in Doha).
Read on another post the QG compound in Doha is "somewhere near Landmark Mall". True? Anyone seen this compound - what type and quality of accomodation can be expected under family status? If a 3 br villa, then anyone out there in a position to describe it a little bit?

Or they may put you in some tower at west bay area (near Citycenter). Fully furnished. Its depend on your grade (SS or NSS), numbers of family members & availability of compound. The houses are at comparable standard from one compound to the others.
BTW, you're coming with your family or single status for the first 2/3 months? & from which country....
Tlpatlpa, thanks for your comments. May I confirm that when you say "SS" you mean senior staff for Qatar Gas specifically? Sorry if that's obvious.
Also, we're a family of 4 probably coming in to join later this year. Would you think it's a safe assumption that if we're offered a villa (again this would be for senior staff, family status), then it will be like the one you described??
+ anyone else?? Your comments would be much appreciated. Your opinion could just be "what you've heard", you dont need to actually have seen these villas.

Ahasnain, yes, Al-khor is full. There are several compond for SS near Villagio - 4+1 BR. Very big villa, with club house (swimming pool, sauna, gym etc). if you like to do cleaning & mopping as a pastime hobby, its good for you & family coz its too big actually.
